What happens after the Knowledge Archive handoff?Clos and Cru conclude with structured documentation any future hire can pick up. Grand Cru includes ongoing Year One Stewardship—quarterly refreshes and annual fluency audits.
Do you work with properties outside Europe and the Hudson Valley?Yes, though travel and fieldwork time factor into scope wherever you are.
What if our team turns over mid-engagement?This is exactly what Staff Fluency and the Knowledge Archive are built to withstand—new hires onboard from the system, not from scratch.
Can we start smaller and expand later?Yes. Several Grand Cru clients began at Clos.
What if we’re not ready to formalize everything we know?That’s usually the starting point, not a prerequisite. Most of what we archive begins as instinct—a winemaker’s sense of timing, a vineyard manager’s read on a slope. The work is making that legible, not asking you to already have it written down.
